online counselling...

How does Online Counselling work?
If it's difficult to physically come in to the room to talk for any reason,  online counselling is a perfect solution.
We can talk together from the comfort of your own space.  C
ounselling sessions via Zoom or FaceTime are very convenient, whether you are simply too far away,  prefer to schedule time in  a lunch-break or for any other reason, unable to manage getting to the counselling room. agoraphobia, anxiety, disabled
ThoughtMatters Online Counselling offers the same level of support and confidentiality as offered in a traditional therapeutic setting. It is convenient, secure and eliminates the time and cost of travel.

Online counselling means you can create your own safe space where you feel comfortable to talk, whether that is at home, in the office or even in your shed. You can use a desktop, laptop, iPad or even your mobile for our sessions. All you need is a device that can access Zoom or FaceTime and a connection to the internet.

Simply contact me to book an appointment.
Before the session, I will send you a Counselling Agreement, a Client Background Form and some Counselling Information (the same as if you were coming in to see me in person). Once I get those back from you, we will share contact details  e.g. FaceTime or your email for a Zoom call  etc. and away we go…

How to get Zoom on your computer...
To access Zoom on your computer or device, you can click here    Download Zoom  and follow the instructions to install.   When we have made the appointment together, I will send an email  at the beginning of our session to invite you to join. Just make sure you are in a private space where you feel comfortable to talk and where I can see you on the screen.

Session and payment details
Sessions generally last one hour and the Online Counselling session fees are the same as a face-to-face session.  Payment is best made via Visa or Mastercard at the time of the session, as a phone eftpos transaction, or in advance via electronic bank transfer. When we book the online therapy I can send you bank details, if required.
